Kenosha, WI – July 9, 2018 – The Boys & Girls Club of Kenosha has teamed up with Petrifying Springs Biergarten and Kenosha County Parks to present Glow in the Garten, a 3K family fun run/walk on Saturday, September 15th.
The race will feature light-up, neon and glow-in-the-dark decorations throughout the course and at the finish line entertainment area. Registration includes a t-shirt, a post-race beverage (beer, soda or water), and entertainment including face painting, a balloon artist and live music by The Brothers Quinn at Petrifying Springs Biergarten.
“This will be a fun night for a great cause,” Kenosha County Executive Jim Kreuser said. “Kenosha County is proud to team up with the Boys & Girls Club and the Petrifying Springs Biergarten to bring another unique event to our community.”
The course will start and finish at the biergarten and wind through Petrifying Springs Park and Golf Course. The race will step off at 7:15pm. The race for kids 12 and under will begin at 6:30pm.
Registration is open now and costs $27 for adults and $22 for kids, through September 14th. Day-of registration will also be available for $30 for adults and $25 for kids. Registration is open online at GlowInTheGarten.eventbrite.com or in person at the Boys & Girls Club of Kenosha.
