Ariens Donates Riding Lawnmower to the Boys & Girls Club of Kenosha

Kenosha, WI – April 9, 2018 – Ariens Company has donated a 19 HP Zero Turn Mower valued at $3,900 to the Boys & Girls Club of Kenosha. This lawnmower will be a huge help for the upcoming baseball and softball season at CYC Park, and is a significant upgrade from old equipment currently being used to maintain the 8.5 acre park.

Ariens Company opened their Kenosha office in January of 2017. “Kenosha was selected because of its location; consolidating four Ariens distribution centers previously located in Wisconsin, Illinois and Indiana; as well as Parts and Accessories distribution,” said Carol Ratliff, Human Resources and Safety Manager at the Ariens Kenosha Distribution Center. “All products manufactured at the Brillion, WI headquarters and Auburn, Nebraska location move through the Kenosha facility.”

Since Ariens first came to town, they were eager to support the local community, and specifically the Club. “At Ariens, we believe that a strong community invests in the future of its youth. The Boys & Girls Club gives kids from all backgrounds an opportunity to succeed and we want to be part of that,” said Ratliff.

CYC Park, a Boys & Girls Club of Kenosha property, is primarily used for BCG Sports’ baseball, softball and t-ball leagues. In the spring and fall, the park also is used for flag football, tackle football practice and soccer camps. The donation from Ariens will help the Club be more efficient in maintaining the park.

The Boys & Girls Club of Kenosha is a youth guidance organization dedicated to promoting health, social, educational, vocational, cultural, character and leadership development.
